About movie
Alex, popular film director, makes an astounding discovery one day, while reading a French magazine. He stumbles upon an article about a man who once won a large amount of money at a casino in colonial Cambodia. The article features an old photo that dates back to 1948. Alex cannot believe his eyes as the man picture is his grandfather – long believed to have been killed during World War II. As it turns out, there is an inheritance waiting for Alex in Paris being held by a high ranking Mason member. Alex meet with the Mason, who tells him that in the 50s his grandfather searched for a statue of Buddha, one of the most sacred religious objects in the world. Alex receives his inheritance as well as an offer to continue his grandfather’s legacy by becoming involved in the Masonic conspiracy. He accepts.
